Renaissance Home Connect!
Renaissance Home Connect is a fun way for parents to keep track of their child's progress in Accelerated Reader and Accelerated Math.
Students will be bringing home a letter that explains how to access Renaissance Home Connect. The letter will also provide parents with their child's user name and password. So... hang on to that letter! Parents will also be able to receive emails when students take AR tests or have Accelerated Math assignments scored.
Our classes will be competing by grade levels to see which class collects the most Box Top. The top class per grade level will win a pizza party! Teachers for the top classes will also earn a little something special!
So start sending those Box Tops to school with your child!
We had a wonderful Grandparents' Day here at Anderson! Thanks to all the grandparents and loved ones who came to support your students!
Please send a note if your student needs to be excused from any physical activity for less than 2 days. A doctor's note is required for missing 3 or more days of class. As the cooler weather approaches, please make sure your student dresses appropriately. We will continue to do Mileage Club when the weather permits.
Students MUST wear sneakers to school every day.
Anderson's mileage club gives students the opportunity to walk or run for fitness. Students are free to walk as little or as much as they desire on the school's walking course during their designated times. Prizes are given for their participation:
5 miles-Toe Token
10 miles-Toe Token and certificate
25 miles-Runners Token
50 miles-Golden Shoes and Giant Toe Token
Top boy and girl participant per grade-Mileage Club Trophy
Our students enjoy the following activities year round: the "Cha-Cha Slide", the "Cupid Shuffle", and the "Mississippi Slide"!
